GROUP FITNESS

The Las Sendas Spa and Fitness Center (FitSpa) offers a variety of group fitness classes, including yoga, barre, water aerobics, cycling, dancing, and more!

STRENGTH

Strength challenges each group of muscles until fatigued. The focus is on form rather than function, using the breath to power each movement and weights to match the need (no bodyweight exercises in this class). Let’s get weighted!

STRENGTH +

This class involves weights, bands and body weight movements. We will combine the upper body with lower body as well as the core to give you a great weight AND cardio workout.

 

Strength, cardio and flexibility all in one hour! You will be leaving feeling like you left it all on the floor

CARDIO UP+

Need to add a little bit of cardio to your weekly fitness schedule? Enjoy low-impact moves using your body weight only (no equipment) followed by short periods of rest. The moves are easy-to-follow and you can go at your own pace. We’ll finish the class with core work and a great stretch.

Stretching on Yoga Mat

YOGA

Yoga is an all-levels and abilities yoga class that will focus on releasing stress and anxiety, bringing back harmony and balance with traditional yoga postures. Also, be on the lookout for our YoChi and yoga wheel classes that you won't find anywhere else!

BARRE

A unique fitness class utilizing the floor and ballet barre to combine components of Pilates, yoga, and ballet conditioning techniques. Designed to lean out the body, strengthen the core and develop beautiful, sculpted muscles that are strong and flexible.

CYCLING

Our cycling instructors will get you moving to the music on our bikes in super-fun and customized classes. Get ready to break a sweat, get motivated, and pedal away at FitSpa! 

WATER AEROBICS

Certified professionals teach our Aqua Fit water aerobics classes in our beautiful and heated pool. This fun resistance training will help you make a "splash" when it comes to physical health, and you'll be sure to make a few friends along the way.

PILATES

We teach the full mat repertoire of exercises taught by Joseph Pilates with the ultimate goal of creating a functionally strong core, patterned breathing, pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, and restoring the natural curves of the spine. 

MINDFUL MEDITATION

A series of techniques through breath, body and awareness to consciously draw the brain waves down. Enter a gap between yourself and your thoughts in a state of deep relaxation, allowing your body and mind to heal.

SENIOR ARIZONA STRONG

This class uses the Senior America Strong system of four basic strength exercises, with several auxiliary exercises and movements, built into a circuit style workout. Agility, balance, and power activities are also included in this class. A warmup before, and cooldown after, are included. It can be as demanding as individuals choose to make it.

EVERYDAY MOBILITY

Helping you stretch and reach new heights! Learn how to recover and improve your posture and balance. Say goodbye to stiff muscles and hello to flexibility!
