GINA
FITSPA DIRECTOR+ LEAD GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Gina brings over 25 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry to Las Sendas. She is a certified Pilates instructor, an ACE-certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Beat Boss cycle instructor, STW-certified fascial stretch therapist, and restorative posture and post-rehab specialist. As director of fitness programming and spa services and the lead instructor at the Las Sendas Spa and Fitness Center, Gina wants you to learn the deep connections you have to your body's movement and the effect it has on living your best life.

Mark has over 35 years of experience training individuals and athletic teams. he holds CSCA and NSCA-CPT credentials from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as the Sports Performance Coach certificate from USA Weightlifting.

JUDY
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Judy has been a FitSpa instructor for the past few years. She began teaching yoga in 2013 at Corepower Yoga in Minneapolis when she completed her 200-hour RYT yoga training in hot yoga. She also completed her 200-hour RYT yoga training in power yoga and completed yoga sculpt training. Judy is an ACE certified instructor teaching group fitness classes.

GEORGE
PERSONAL TRAINER
George has a background in the sports supplement and botanical industries, as well as in nutrition and corporate fitness management for several sites in California and Arizona. With a degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry, he was also a member of the ClubOne Fitness Team in California that conducted yearly fitness assessments for the San Jose Fire Department.

BEVERLY
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Bev has been involved in fitness, training, and competing for over 20 years. In 2001, she began the Las Sendas Run/Bike/Tri Club, which provides opportunities for people to connect and train with others. She was one of the original fitness instructors at FitSpa teaching cycle, muscle, hike fitness, step, and water fitness. Bev has many certifications including Ironman Coach, MADD Dog Spinning, American Council on Exercise, Aquatic Exercise Association, and RRCA Running Coach.

DONNA
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Donna is a water aerobics instructor certified by the American Sports and Fitness Association. Water exercises have been her passion for over 40 years, with 12 years of experience instructing water and low-impact aerobics classes. Here at FitSpa, she offers a fun, zero impact program that will improve heart health and cardiovascular strength while sculpting and toning muscles. Now retired from a 20-year finance career with Boeing, she enjoys hiking, barre class, gardening, and her four grandchildren.

KAYLEEN
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Kayleen is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher \with over 2,000 hours of yoga teaching under her belt. With multiple certificates in Hatha, Power, Sculpt, Children's, and Paddle Board yoga, she has taught yoga across the Southwest for 11 years. Her background stems from growing up as an athlete, and she uses yoga to achieve her fitness and spiritual goals. Expect classes full of fun music, challenging postures, and dynamic movements that focus on strength, tone, dynamic movements, and of course, letting loose!

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Jen is a certified instructor for HIGH Fitness, bringing aerobics back with a makeover. Think HIIT training, barre, and toning while throwing in a little Jane Fonda, Richard Simmons, Dua Lipa, Bon Jovi, and more music favorites. She boosts the physical and mental stamina achieved personally from group classes so others feel the same joy, confidence, and warmth of something amazing, empowering others to be true to themselves while having fun.

KIM
ATHETIC YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Kim is an Army veteran and holds a PhD in psychology. She has taught at the University level since 2011 and is currently an Associate Professor of psychology and Faculty Chair at Grand Canyon University where she manages a team of 25 psychology professors. She has practiced yoga since 2001 and completed her first yoga teacher certification in 2003. She stays current on yogic knowledge and skills through continuing education and a consistent personal yoga practice. Her certifications include: Yin, Restorative Yoga, Hatha/Power yoga, and she is in the completion stages of a cert in Yoga Nidra.

DANETTE
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Danette began her love for competitive fitness at the age of 12. After her collegiate women's softball career at The Ohio State University, she became a competitive triathlete. Dannette expanded her love and passion for health & wellness by coaching and teaching group fitness classes. She is an AFAA nationally certified instructor with over 10 fitness discipline certifications. She has had the honor to coach and mentor young athletes, young students, college students, gym group fitness groupies, school faculty & staff, and seniors.

DIANE
TPI + PERSONAL TRAINER + LIFE COACH + GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Diane is a certified life coach, orthopedic specialist, and golf training instructor. She has been a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor for over 25 years. Diane has worked with pre- and post-surgery clients, which is her specialty! She also has experience working with collegiate athletes and other clients with issues including MS, back problems, and joint pain. As a life coach, she works on the "whys," which, according to Diane, is "one of the most successful ways to accomplish your goal."

MEG
PERSONAL TRAINER + GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Meg moved from Chicago to study art and physical education at Arizona State University. Her love of the desert kept her here, where she pursued her love of fitness. Meg has been in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years as a personal trainer and teaching group fitness. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine C.P.T. and ACE Group Fitness.

TANYA
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Tanya is a certified barre instructor. She is passionate about creating a challenging yet fun workout for ladies to stay motivated and focused on getting the results they desire. Tanya is a trained ballet and jazz dancer with 11 years of competitive dance experience. In 2013, she tried her first barre fitness class and loved it because of the similarities it had to her dance background, and she immediately wanted to take steps to become an instructor.

JACKIE
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Jackie has been practicing yoga for 15 years. Jackie is a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with a 200-hours Yoga Teacher Training certification. She is passionate about holding space for you to facilitate releasing tension and stress from the body, making yoga poses work for you. Jackie is excited to guide you through your class as you build core strength, stability, and feel happy and whole.

FELICIA
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Felicia is originally from Miami, Florida. After an injury ended her professional dancing career, Felicia discovered yoga and was immediately drawn to the mind/body connection it provides. She earned her certification studying master yoga teacher Rina Jakubowicz. Today, Felicia enjoys teaching beginner to advanced classes and encouraging students to "live in yoga" on and off their mats.

KAITLIN
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Kaitlin is a yogini who has practiced across the West and around the world! She completed her RYT200 at Laughing Buddha Yoga in 2018 and has since been teaching a variety of Vinyasa and Hatha flow classes. Influenced by her education in Southeast Asian Studies, Kaitlin builds classes that fuse yoga tradition, breathwork, and movement. As someone who grew up in the Red Mountain area, she is thrilled to be a part of the Las Sendas community and teaching in “her neck of the woods.”

MICHELLE
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
After marrying her soulmate and high school sweetheart, Michelle has taught barre for more than a decade while raising five children. She loves teaching barre not only because she thinks it's absolutely the best workout but because of the people she meets and the friendships she builds along the way. Her classes are fun, energetic, and time well spent.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Jules has a philosophy that exercise is medicine and should be prescribed. "Practicing is the only way to train yourself to do the harder things, so let's start your journey off POWERFULLY!"

Kris
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
After the Army, Kris had a career in Information Technology, which she recently left to teach mindful movement and meditation full-time. Kris has been teaching Yoga and Guided Meditation for over 10 years, and practicing for over 20 years. She really fell in love with Yoga after discovering the healing practice of a heated Vinyasa that links movement and breathing to create a moving meditation experience. Whether through Yoga movement, or Meditation, it is the felt sense of peace that we can experience in the mind-body connection and the revitalized feeling afterward. Kris is an RYT - 500hr teacher, teaching a variety of Yoga styles to all levels, abilities, and experience. Take time to breathe into remembering with your inner light of love and peace.

AESTHETICIAN
Patricia specializes in aesthetics and anti-aging clinical therapy and has been fortunate to work here at FitSpa since March 2010. The products she uses are all paraben-free, fruit-based, and very effective. She offers many anti-aging services such as micro-needling, hydro facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, enzymes, LED red light therapy, microcurrent, and cryotherapy.

JAMIE
CERTIFIED HEALTH COACH
Jamie is a certified health coach; she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition out of New York, which is widely known as a prestigious school for nutrition and health coaching. Jamie is also a certified coach with Optavia, so you could say she is double-certified!
As a health coach, Jamie specializes in helping others build a solid structure for their health and mindset. She coaches in a holistic manner, which incorporates body, mind and spirit. If you are looking to lose weight, gain weight, or are navigating difficult times, Jamie will create and hold space for you.

PAULA
REIKI MASTER + HYPNOTHERAPIST
Paula is a registered nurse, consulting hypnotist, Reiki master teacher, and rapid eye technician. Combining her nursing knowledge, training in alternative modalities, life experiences, and intuition, she offers uniquely personal and deeply transformative work.
